The Best Around

Ah, October! Finally here. And so it OverKill, it was a good break, but I'm glad to be back.
As for anyone who can't understand this comic, it's about one man's inability to pass the torture sequence in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.

And in other news, you've probably all heard of the new Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeros.

4 Gs of the worst kind

Busy week, taking things easy with an MS paint comic. G4 deserves no better.

*Update- Hey all, I've been a tad tied up. Sadly there will be no comic this week. However, be sure to look forward to next week's comic! School starts up soon, and I've got some loose ends to tie up, leaving me pretty beat. Transformers has been taking up spare time. So, to anyone who got Fall of Cybertron, you rock, and enjoy. To appease your  rage due to the lack of a comic, instead enjoy a kick ass picture of Optimus Prime.

Happens Every Time

Ah, Mario Party. Such joyous days of party simulated fun. Until your so called 'friends' screw you over, take all your stars, and leave you for dead on an abandoned island! That has happen way too many times.

*Update- Similar to countless others, I have been on the fence about Dead Space 3, what with all the shooting, and the pulping. Originally, things weren't looking so good for dear old Dead Space 3. However, I can now safely say that I am looking forward to what I'm almost positive will be the next awesome Dead Space game. Check out this all new Dead Space 3 trailer from Gamescom.

Disturbingly Cute

So, here we are again! I still don't have photoshop back yet, but the show must go on, right? So, I've started a Backlog. A very mysterious backlog... and so far, on that log I have just finished the classic Zone of the Enders! Look forward to a comic on it soon. (Trying to find the sequel is stores sure is a bitch, but there is always the INTERNET.)

An Age Old Dilema

Well, we're back! And for good reasons, last week I was without power. Which. Was. Awful. It was a hell unlike any other. However, this week you'll all be getting 3, that's right, 3 comics! There's today's comic, and the conclusion will be posted Friday! As well as a bonus comic being put up this Wednesday! Until then, enjoy!

Also, if you wanted to see the poster from the first panel of today's comic without losing your eye sight, Resident Weedle 4 bitches. -Damon

*UPDATE: Part 2 is up! Due to multiple fucking problems it couldn't be up Friday, but despite all odds it's here today. I'm afraid the bonus comics will have to wait until I get my computer fixed, which will hopefully be soon. Until then Monday updates will still continue. Thanks for putting up with this shit!

Nintendo Asylum

Hey hey! Comic is UP. Well, not too long ago I took a trip to Nintendo World, in New York! It was a pretty amazing place, very very Nintendo. The best part was the small museum of Nintendo stuff they had on the top floor, filled with classic relics that would humble any gamer. And they had a giant Pikachu statue... and I swear I heard something...

A special thanks goes out to :iconxsplosive: !!! Who helped me out on Monday, thanks Bri!

On the topic of Nintendo, it seems Reggie Fils-Aime is getting fed up with the way people are treating Nintendo. We claims to be doing his best, yet gamers are 'insatiable'. Harsh words Reggie. We still love you.

Other than that, I highly recommend giving a listen to the sound track of the indie game 'Mutant Mudds'. I'm quite the fan of chiptune, and this is definitely quenching my thirst. Check it out here- Mutant Mudds OST

Quick update, someone cross stitched all 151 Pokemon. It took them 130 days, wow! Check it out here, witness the cross stitching magic.

The Force is Wrong with This One

Hey, hey, hey! Another Monday, another comic! E3 week has come and gone, leaving us all with that "Holy shit, gotta have it!" feeling in our hearts. Along with the passing of the Humble Indie Bundle! A big high five for everyone cool enough to get it.

So, Metroid. Gotta love it. But what would happen if dear old Samus found another space relic? No, not a morph ball upgrade... something a tad crazier.

The Deal of a Lifetime

Hello gamers, today I've got something very special to inform you about, sometime I hope most of you already know about. A deal no gamer in the right mind could turn down- the Humble Indie Bundle. For only a dollar you get Psychonauts, Limbo, Amnesia the Dark Descent, and Swords and Sworcery EP. Completely DRM free, along with the complete soundtrack to each game. I know, I know, take a minute to breathe, it gets better! For $9 you get all of the games mentioned above, plus Lone Survivor, Bastion, Super Meat Boy, and Braid. Dear God, what a deal. In case you didn't notice the link in the comic, or you were too lazy to type it in, just click here: http://www.humblebundle.com/     (You best hurry, there are only 3 days left!)

All of your money goes straight to the developers and Child's Play charity! Brandon, Caleb, and myself all got it. So, enjoy the games, I sure am. -Damon

[I would also like to take a moment to say that due to the deal being a limited time offer, I NEEDED to do this comic TODAY. I had a totally different comic planned, and I've had a lot of other work come up over the course of the week, so this comic really wouldn't have made it if the gorgeous colors hadn't been done by Briana Aleman! Be sure to check out more of her stuff on her deviant art page.]

A trip through time as we know it

*Comic is up!
Greetings Monday viewers, OverKill's weekly update is here! But today we've got something different on the menu, while I do have a comic for today, I'll be posting that tomorrow. Today I have a special piece based on the 'New Pokemon' comic I did a while ago. I put some real love into this piece, just like I did the comic. It has a special place in my heart and now, being long to far off from E3, I thought we could reflect before moving on to something new.

Anyway, I'll be posting a comic for one of my all time favorite games tomorrow, Alien Hominid! And E3 is less than 7 days away! Or is it 8? We'll find out soon enough! Apparently there's a new Star Wars game franchise in the works! It's going to be good, I can sense it, the force is strong with this one! Until tomorrow -Damon

Gold Mine of Intellectual Properties

In this SICK world we live in today, if something does well it WILL have a sequel. That's something you can almost always bet on (unless it's an indie title). So it's only a matter of time before Fruit Ninja Kinect gets a sequel, eh? And the kids of today love games that make them feel at home...

In other news, on Destructoid some guy played Fruit Ninja with his dick. And that's about it for now. Until next week. -Damon

Quick update! We're seriously back, thus when I'm not drawing or play games I'm trying to improve upon any aspect of OverKill that I can, and until today I was unaware that only blogspot registered users were allowed to post. I've broken down this restriction giving more power to everyday family man. User or not anyone can now leave a comment here. Be sure to share your thoughts, power to the people! -Damon

Slanted Dicks Presents

Hey hey! Another Monday, another comic. And christ has it been a Monday. This comic gave me a lot of trouble, but I wasn't really satisfied with the last Operation Raccoon City comic. That game SUCKS and it needs to be known! I won't let Slant 6 Slanted Dicks live it down! Took me a good bit of time to do this comic, but Jonathan Murdock lent a helping hand with his guest comic last week. If you missed it then click here to check it out!

Other than that I've started Bioshock not too long ago. It's blowing my mind, truly an amazing creative game. If I ever finish my Skyrim comic then Bioshock will totally get a comic. I been drawing and coloring small pictures of Big Daddies, Little Sisters, and all the plasmid abilities. Lots O' fun! Well, until next week. -Damon

*Quick little update, I just thought I'd point out the little Akira reference in Minecraft! It's cool to know that the people behind this game are just as cool as we'd imagine.

For those of you who don't know Akria, (in my opinion) it's one of greatest animated movies ever. Click here to refresh your memory.

A Different kind of Zelda...

Hey folks! I've been up to my ears in art related stuff, and I've been working on a special OverKill for Skyrim! Oohhh! But we couldn't just pass up a comic, so this week I've asked for the help of none other than Jonathan Murdock, the creator of Dungeon Hordes!

Be sure to read more Dungeon Hordes by clicking here!

And don't forget to check out some of Jonathan's awesome art on his Deviant Art page by clicking here!

*Update-
In other news, I've been working on various projects lately, all very odd. Fleshing out ideas and exploring the endless field of evil in my mind. Your usual artist shit. Other than that, in my free time I've finally finished Oblivion, along with ALL of the guild questlines. It's been a fun journey, and I'm glad I decided to play it before Skyrim. I've dived into Elder Scrolls lore and I like it. A lot. I'm going to take a break before going back to play Shivering Isles though. And I'll need a good while before playing Skyrim... If I spent all my free time playing Bethesda games I'd probably go insane and live in a disturbing fantasy world in my head. However, what would the comics of an insane man look like? One can only wonder. -Damon

Bring Your Pet to Work Day

Another Monday, another comic, so sit back, shut up, and enjoy! Who could forget the Behemoth's downloadable classic Castle Crashers? Tom Fulp and Dan Paladin did an awesome job. When will Battle Block Theater come out? No one has any fucking idea. But it'll come out one day. Until then at least we have Skullgirls. -Damon

Operation Raccoon Shitty

Well, as discussed last week, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon Shitty is a bad game. Or, in the very least, not a game worth 60 dollars. However, being the huge fan of everything Resident Evil, I stumbled right into that one... augh.... what terrors await! I played Resident Evil's 2 and 3 to get ready. They were amazing, and I'll remember them as long I live, but Operation Raccoon City is... forgettable. Or at least, you'll WANT to forget it. I actually have another comic on the subject as to WHY it's so bad coming up next week. It'll be cool, even I'm looking forward to it.

I've also been playing Oblivion... and good God, I could do a thousand comics on that! But we'll see... until next time. -Damon

Apocalyptic Negotiations

I finished doing absolutely everything in Fallout 3 some time ago, and it was some of the best fun I'd had in... ever. I'd come to really grow accustom to the DC wastes, and my priceless home in Megaton. I had over 1,000 Nuka Cola's in my machine, I had a lamp hanging from the ceiling of people gettin' it on, and a robot who constantly gave me water (which I gave to Mickey outside the city, he forgave all of my sins). Hell, I even kept my Brotherhood of Steel companion in my closet like a trophy. A freakish talking trophy, but whatever. Point is, I played Fallout 3 like I was in it, and I enjoyed it. Caleb and I could probably write a thousand comics for Fallout 3, but this one sums up a good bit of the daily happenings.

In other news, this my serve as a somewhat late warning, but for the love of God don't buy Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. Go out and get the original first 3, or get 4 in HD on Wii, 360, or PS3. It's even on PS2 and Gamecube. Operation Raccoon City has to be one of the biggest let downs ever... to me anyway... I was hyping it up, but alas it was garbage. We'll have a comic up about it later in the following weeks. On a much brighter note I hope everyone is enjoying either Skullgirls or Fez! Or both! Till next week -Damon

Geez wizz, look at the time!

I drew this back in November, but it works now too, I guess... So yeah! See, I wasn't joking, we update Mondays! For real!

It's been a loooooong time

Greetings people of the future, it Damon here! Now while I doubt anyone still comes here, a new OverKill is up! Wowwee! I couldn't stand promising new comics when there were no new comics to be had! But that time has come, I've taken some time and now there ARE new comics coming! Good God has it been a while, so much has happened, so many games have been played, and I've missed out on making fun of retarded events (3DS analog attachment), damn! But I'm here now, and what is this?

Tons of people are saying that the end of Mass Effect 3 is wrong? They're trying to sue Bioware? They're sending Bioware cupcakes? Geez, with trivial shit like this you'd think some people just want an excuse to be upset!

Anyway, it's good to be back. Check back next week since OverKill updates every Monday. -Damon
